Agent integrations

Connect your AI assistant to AgentPay

Your assistant asks to spend. You approve with Face ID, Touch ID, or a device passkey. A single-use card is issued for the exact amount, then burned, and you get an instant receipt.

1. Your MCP server URL
https://useagentpay.co/mcp

Signing in happens through AgentPay's OAuth consent screen, so the assistant only ever acts as you.

2. Before you connect
  1. Create an account and open the dashboard.
  2. Add your mobile number and notification email, then click Register device passkey — approvals require it.
  3. Create an agent. Turn on Test mode for a full dry run with a simulated card, or leave it off for real Stripe Issuing purchases.
ChatGPT
  1. Open Settings → Connectors → Advanced and enable Developer mode (read the risk notice shown there). If it is unavailable, ask a ChatGPT admin to enable it.
  2. Open the new connector dialog .
  3. Paste AgentPay as the name and the MCP URL above.
  4. Review, tick “I understand and want to continue”, then click Create and finish the AgentPay sign-in.
  5. Enable AgentPay from the chat composer and say: “Buy a $12 domain at Namecheap using AgentPay.”
Claude
  1. Open the prefilled custom connector dialog , review, and click Add.
  2. If the dialog does not open, go to Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector, name it AgentPay and paste the MCP URL.
  3. Approve the AgentPay consent screen, enable the connector in the composer, then ask Claude to make a purchase.
Claude Code
claude mcp add --scope user --transport http agentpay 'https://useagentpay.co/mcp'
  1. Run the command in a terminal.
  2. Start Claude Code and run /mcp to sign in and confirm AgentPay is connected.
  3. Ask Claude Code to buy something through AgentPay.
Other MCP clients & sample manifest
  1. Open your client's MCP or custom connector settings.
  2. Add a remote MCP server, name it AgentPay and paste the URL above.
  3. Complete the OAuth sign-in, then enable it in a new chat.

What happens end to end
  1. The assistant calls agentpay_request_purchase with the exact amount, merchant and reason.
  2. AgentPay creates a pending request and texts you a transaction-bound approval link that expires in two minutes.
  3. You open the link and approve with Face ID, Touch ID or a passkey. Nothing is charged without it.
  4. A single-use card locked to the exact amount is issued (simulated in test mode), the merchant charges it, and the card is burned.
  5. You instantly get an email receipt and an in-app notification with item, exact amount, merchant and approval metadata.
Test mode vs live

Test mode runs the entire flow — request, SMS link, biometric approval, card issuance, burn, receipt — with a simulated card. Nothing touches Stripe and no money moves. Everything is labelled [TEST].

Live mode issues a real Stripe Issuing single-use virtual card. It requires an active Stripe Issuing account with a funded balance and a cardholder configured on your profile.

HTTP API (same powers, no MCP)

Every endpoint takes your agent key in the x-agentpay-key header.

  • POST https://useagentpay.co/api/public/v1/request-funds
  • POST https://useagentpay.co/api/public/v1/checkout/start
  • POST https://useagentpay.co/api/public/v1/checkout/command
  • GET  https://useagentpay.co/api/public/v1/checkout/status?session_id=…
  • POST https://useagentpay.co/api/public/v1/checkout/next-command (runner)
  • POST https://useagentpay.co/api/public/v1/checkout/command-result (runner)

command takes action = goto | click | type | press | scroll | read | wait | confirm_order, plus target, value or url, and returns the resulting page text so the AI can pick the next step.

Let the AI actually place the order (local checkout runner)

Approval issues the card. The AgentPay runner then completes the real checkout — inside your own Chrome profile, with your own logins and cookies. It is free forever because it runs on your machine.

"/Applications/Google Chrome.app/Contents/MacOS/Google Chrome" --remote-debugging-port=9222
cd runner && npm install && AGENTPAY_KEY=ag_live_xxx AGENTPAY_API=https://useagentpay.co npm start
  1. Quit Chrome, then relaunch it with the debugging flag above (your normal profile and logins stay).
  2. Grab the runner/ folder from the project, run npm install, then start it with your agent API key.
  3. Ask your AI to buy something and include the product URL — the runner opens it and works the cart → checkout path.
  4. When a CAPTCHA, 3-D Secure prompt, one-time code, login or bot check appears, the runner pauses and texts you a resume link. You clear it in the window that is already open and tap resume.
  5. In live mode the card number never leaves Stripe, so you confirm the payment field yourself; in test mode the test card is filled automatically.

AgentPay never bypasses CAPTCHAs, bank verification, one-time codes or anti-bot systems. Those are designed to require a human, so we hand them to you in one tap instead of pretending to solve them.
